Lewzurris rocked by injury of midfielder

This morning certainly is one of mixed feelings for the lewzurris faithfuls. They may have witnessed one of the best performances of Lewzurris FC for the season but they also saw the departure of their outstanding midfielder, Mingwei. He said he felt something in his ankle and may be forced to sit out of the international game that is coming this wednesday. Manager Gus Hiddinks commented:” We’ll have to wait to see if we can use him for the upcoming clash with Jakbalang FC. It looks bad. And we have enough back up players to cover for his absence. “

Defender shown the exit door

Over several weeks of speculations, the transfer is finally confirmed. Beijing FC secured the signing of left back Chee Wee from Les Lewzurris for a fee believed to be in the region of 5 million. The left back is believed to be frustrated over the lack of first team action in the team for the past few years and is tired of life on loan to other clubs like Jakbalang FC. He wants to rekindle his career by joining Beijing FC and aim to squeeze his way back into the national team.Ex-teammate Roland who is currently enjoying a run in the team wishes his friend good luck in his new club and hope the next time he comes back to Stadion de Lewzurris, he will receive a deserving reception from the faithful fans for his loyal 3.5 years of service.

Lewzurris midfielder speaks for Beijing FC’s target

Reports were flashing over the past few weeks that several clubs in China are targeting petite full back, Chee Wee (who was sighted in a meeting with officials from China). This matter was initiated when Chee Wee suggested that he is starting to feel disillusioned about life in the club and may seek a change to rekindle his career. Restricted to just 4 starts in the season so far and spending bulk of time on loan to Jakbalang club, Chee Wee’s future in Lewzurris is tainted.  Teammate and roomie, Roland speaks highly of Chee Wee and he believed will have a detrimental impact on the club’s title charge this season. Roland told espn.com that he sees Chee Wee as an integral part of the team and had been a great teammate on and off the pitch. He will urge the manager Guz Hiddinks to keep the small full back in the squad as other full backs like Victor is always found to be AWOL and there was no other reliable full backs in the team. This lack of depth in Lewzurris was even more evident when they faced Red-Jersey FC led by Kok Leong in recent games. Lewzurris was always found on the wrong foot in defence and often have to compensate that with outstanding attacking football upfront. The manager knows this and he will have to do something. The future is blue…

Winter Break..!

It is the winter break for Lewzurris FC.  It has always been a tradition for Lewzurris FC to have their breaks during mid Nov to Dec and Mid May. The club believes that these breaks will rejuvenate the exhausted players who have to play week in week out. Playmaker Albert was reported saying he enjoyed the break as he could spend more time with the family. Once the league starts the team will be more energetic and could run an extra mile.

Meanwhile another Lewzurri player was on the transfer report recently. Player Chee Wee was reported a transfer target by Beijing FC. Paparazzi had reported sightings of Chee Wee meeting officials from Beijing FC in a hotel in City Lew Lian. Manager of Les Lewzurri strongly deny that there is any transfer taking place while Beijing FC decline to comment.

New Adidas sponsors…

Kaida, Roland and Chee Wee were present at the new Adidas shop that was opened in the heart of the city. They were there to show their new boots which were specially designed and custom made to suit to their play and their feet. Kaida is a proud owner of his newly designed Adidas shoes. The design looks retro and its supposedly suited to Kaida’s way of shooting especially his famous same spot same angle. Kaida who tried out his new boots and had confirmed that the boots did enhance in his same spot same angle technique and he was proud to score a total of 6 goals with his new boots debut.  ” I love the feel of the new boots and the design and colour. It is total white and i love to be flamboyant. The cushion of the boots is good enough and the skin is well sewed and i could curve the ball and shoot the ball as hard as i want to.” Roland and Chee Wee were also presented with their new boots from Adidas. Roland has his boots red and he was reported pleased with it. ” I wanted the colour red because my greatest idol Gerrard is using red boots and was sponsored by Adidas. The new boots is comfortable and i have no problem running up and down with it. Previous shoes from Brooks i was easily tired out and i felt that the boots was not suited to my feet and hence i was not able to feel the ball directly. This boots give me the exact feel i want, my passing improved and my shooting is more powerful than usual.” Chee Wee is reported having the similar design with Roland but his is blue.
